DEMONZ

On a giant interactive screen, cheeky DEMONZ appears to tease and joke with the crowd. Kids and adults can grab soft balls and try to knock them out, each hit unleashing bursts of color, sound, and laughter. Blending digital fantasy with playful action, the installation proves it’s always okay to never grow up — because games are for every age.

Technical description

Demonz is a real-time interactive game in which sensors detect balls thrown by the audience and immediately translate the impact into on-screen reactions. The installation is designed to accommodate up to 50 participants simultaneously.

The game can be projected onto a screen up to 12 × 4 meters, or directly onto a flat façade. The setup includes a 4K projector with 11,000 ANSI lumens. We typically request that the festival provide a truss structure for mounting and stability.
