CerebriTREE
Pavel Liška (CZ)
THE UNSEEN NETWORK OF COMMUNICATION
CerebriTREE is a monumental light installation that visualizes the invisible processes of life and communication within nature. Multimedia artist Pavel Liška uses a majestic tree as a symbol for the biological "internet" of the forest—mapping the flow of life-giving sap, the exchange of gases, and the intricate communication between fauna and flora.
Just as the human brain shares information beneath our conscious awareness, a tree is constantly "speaking." Thousands of mirrors create a sophisticated "dress" for the tree, reflecting and refracting light to reveal a fantastic world that is usually hidden from the human eye. It is a work that reminds us that what is most important is often invisible.
INSTALLATION HIGHLIGHTS
-
24-Hour Artistic Presence: The installation is designed for dual appeal; by day, it stands as an intriguing mirror-covered statue, and by night, it transforms into a stunning, illuminated spectacle.
-
Symbolic Resonance: The tree serves as a powerful universal symbol of life and connection, making it an ideal piece for festivals focusing on nature, science, or public environmental awareness.
-
Natural Integration: The artwork enhances rather than replaces nature, using a majestic tree as its primary medium to create a mesmerizing urban or park landmark.
