Wind, Light, and Sound in Motion

Beam Reach—a nautical term for the wind blowing directly onto the side of a vessel—is transformed into a dynamic, multisensory

experience. Six stylized ship pylons form a kinetic choreography, capturing the invisible power of the wind to create a shifting spectrum of light and color.

Each pylon features a banner equipped with specialized filters that refract light beams into vivid rainbow fractions. As the wind moves the banners, the environment is painted with dancing rays. Complemented by an atmospheric soundscape from DJ Aid Kid, the installation invites visitors to become part of the composition by playing the nine interactive "tubes," each producing a unique musical tone.

Installation Highlights

A Kinetic Symphony: The work creates a "living" choreography that responds to the environment, making every visit unique depending on the weather conditions.
Haptic and Musical Play: By allowing visitors to interact physically with the pylons to create sound, the installation bridges the gap between contemplative art and playful public interaction.
Versatile Placement: Its modular design (6 individual pylons) allows for flexible arrangements, making it suitable for waterfronts, park pathways, or open urban plazas.
