BEAM REACH

Beam Reach is the point of sail where the wind is blowing directly onto the side of the vessel. Czech artist Pavla Beranová created a parallel to this effect consisting of a group of 9 stylized ships – pylons lit by light beams with a special banner on the top. The banner is covered by a filter that breaks the light from the beam in several fractions of the spectrum. The banner moves by the power of the wind creating a choreography of colours and rays of light. The installation is accompanied by an original music from DJ Aid Kid. Visitors can play one of the nine tubes creating each of them unique tone. Visual and sound composition creates magical atmosphere both to relax and play.
